Anxiety, OCD, and panic therapy in Beverly Hills
Anxiety is not a character flaw or a failure to relax. It is a nervous system working hard to keep you safe, often in ways that end up making your life smaller. Therapy can help you understand what keeps the cycle going and loosen its grip.
We work with adults and teens facing anxiety, OCD, panic, and low mood, in person in Beverly Hills and online across California, in English and Turkish.

People come to us when
- Worry runs in the background all day and gets louder at night
- Intrusive thoughts feel disturbing and impossible to shake
- Checking, reassurance-seeking, or mental rituals are taking up hours
- Panic attacks have them avoiding driving, crowds, or being alone
- Perfectionism and self-criticism are pushing them toward burnout
- Low mood, numbness, or loss of interest has lasted for weeks
- They’ve tried coping skills on their own and still feel stuck
-
For the constant what-ifs, the racing mind at bedtime, and the tension your body has stopped noticing. We look at what the worry is trying to protect and build more room to respond differently.
-
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the leading evidence-based treatment for OCD, helps you face intrusive thoughts without the compulsions, reassurance, or avoidance that keep them in charge.
-
Panic can feel like a medical emergency even when it is not. Therapy helps you understand what is happening in your body, stop organizing your life around the next attack, and return to the places you have been avoiding.
-
Low mood, numbness, harsh self-criticism, and the exhaustion of never feeling like enough. We explore the patterns that keep you stuck, alongside practical steps toward feeling more like yourself.
How we can help
How therapy helps
Anxiety tends to grow when we avoid what we fear, and to shrink when we learn through experience that we can handle it. Our clinicians draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), alongside psychodynamic therapy that looks at where these patterns came from and what they have been protecting.
We won't hand you a worksheet and send you on your way. The goal is lasting change: understanding why the anxiety makes sense, and building the flexibility to respond to it differently.

ERP is the most researched treatment for OCD. With your therapist, you gradually and voluntarily approach the thoughts and situations that trigger anxiety while practicing not doing the compulsion. Over time, your brain learns that the anxiety passes on its own. You set the pace, and nothing happens without your agreement.
-
No. Many people come in simply knowing that worry, panic, or low mood is getting in the way. Once we understand what is happening, we can talk about whether a diagnosis would be useful for you.
-
Yes. Many people combine therapy and medication. We do not prescribe, but we are glad to coordinate with your psychiatrist or physician, and we can refer you for a medication evaluation if it seems helpful.
