About LizWhen life brings loss, illness, or a change you never asked for, it can feel like the ground has shifted beneath you. I help people find their footing again, and often discover what matters most along the way.
I see adults, couples, and families in person in Beverly Hills and online throughout California.
Liz’s Expertise
-
From the shock of diagnosis through treatment, survivorship, and fear of recurrence, support for patients and the people who love them.
-
Including anticipatory grief, when you are grieving someone who is still here.
-
Retirement, identity shifts, loss of control, and existential questions about meaning and mortality.
-
Using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), I help partners reconnect and rebuild trust.
My therapeutic approach
I am not a blank stare across the room or Zoom box. I bring warmth, curiosity, patience, and humor to our work, along with my full self.
My primary lens is existential. I also integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), attachment theory, mindfulness, psychodynamic, and Gestalt techniques. Together, we explore what is changing, build practices that help you cope, and move toward a life that feels more free, meaningful, and authentic.
